Synopsis
With Teaching guide After dedicating 15 years to exposing the underworld of sexual
exploitation and trafficking in Asia and the Americas, journalist, and
filmmaker Chelo Alvarez-Stehle is drawn to Zarautz beach, which
draws her childhood to a close and reveals family secrets. During
her work with sex trafficking survivors, she meets a Mexican woman
who managed to escape a trafficking and prostitution network with
her six-month-old baby and succeeded in crossing the border into
the United States, where she became a leading activist against
sexual exploitation in the Latino community.
