Using PLATINO EDUCA 45

as a teacher

You are a teacher, you have PLATINO EDUCA at the ready and you are keen to start
using it in your classes, only you don’t know how. Lucky for you, it’s super easy! All you
need to do is to follow these simple steps:

1. Set your learning objective. What do
plan to use your movie for? Do you want
to teach a Language and Literature topic
in an inspiring way? Or are you looking
for concepts in History or the Natural
Sciences? Maybe you are interested
in discussing human rights with your
students? Or analyzing a classic of Spanish
cinema? If you need inspiration, you can
also find ideas in the “This month, we
recommend” section of our website.

2. Choose a movie that suits your
objectives. You can browse the options by
clicking on “Catalogue” and exploring the
sections “By Subject”, “Values Training”,
“Audiovisual Literacy” and “Themes”.

Or you can also select the age range of
your students: 3 to 6 years, 6 to 9 years,
10 to 12 years, 13 to 15 years, 16 to 17
years, or 18 years +.

You also have the option of going straight
to the movie titles we have chosen
to correspond to the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Finally, you can also use the “Search” bar to
browse all movies that fit the profile of your
students. The icons above each movie
indicate whether it comes with different
versions, subtitles, and/or a teaching guide.
